it's happening again...

Today is 6 months and two days since I arrived back in Australia ... which I reckon would make it exactly 6 months that I've been living with this tiny little voice in the back of my head, saying 'Do it again! Do it again! Go explore this big wide world!'

So now I'm giving in.

Sarah phoned me a few days ago, and said "Man, I really want to go to Africa." And ofcourse I said "I really want to go to Africa too." So then we went to the travel agent and I booked some flights to Kenya and South Africa.

Exciting? Yes.
Stupid? Quite possibly... I just hope I can afford to feed myself while I'm over there.

I just found out we've been accepted into the Kenya volunteer program (probably more orphanage stuff ... maybe AIDS outreach). Oh yeah. Go me. I'm so excited you can't even understand. Africa, guys. AFRICA!!! AAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHH HHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!

I don't think you should be all that surprised. It's the same sort of social prejudice that's been going on since i was born and even before. Your poem might just stand the test of time. At least I'm sure it wil. It sucks how much people base eveything off physical appearance. I mean don't get me wrong I've done it too. It just makes me relate to the poem more.
